A fixed-term position as a school assistant is available at Kastelli School from August 10, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The position is part-time, 32 hours per week. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic school assistant who promotes a positive working environment through their actions. Good communication and teamwork skills are also required. The position is located in an elementary school. Kastelli School, located in the Kastelli multi-purpose building, is a comprehensive school for grades 1-9. Our school has nearly 800 students and 70 staff members. Kastelli School has specialized physical education classes, which admit students annually through entrance exams. The school also has small groups, a preparatory education group for grades 7-9, and a flexible basic education group. The qualification requirement is a professional qualification in school attendance and morning and afternoon activity guidance, a practical nurse qualification with a focus on children and youth, or another suitable professional qualification that includes pedagogical studies or education and guidance studies. The salary for the school assistant position is based on the level pay system and the level of competence and responsibility, ranging from €2,341.57 to €2,460.00. The actual salary consists of a task-specific salary and possible other level-based allowances according to KVTES. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract related to working with children, as required by law (504/2002) §3, before starting the position. The position includes a trial period.
