Join us in creating your life story together. We are looking for a charge nurse at Järvenpää Validia House. We are currently seeking a nurse to strengthen our multidisciplinary team. The work with individuals with disabilities is diverse and offers variety that provides an appropriate level of challenge. We emphasize genuine interaction, rehabilitative approach, and teamwork. The position is full-time, mainly weekday mornings. As a charge nurse, you will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care and health promotion for clients. Your duties include assessing, monitoring, and documenting clients' health status, as well as developing care plans and guiding staff in their implementation. You will oversee medication planning and development, ensuring its safe administration. You will support and train the nursing staff, enhancing their skills, while actively participating in daily care work with clients. Additionally, you will attend team meetings and contribute to unit development, bringing your expertise to multidisciplinary collaboration. Järvenpää Validia House is a 24-hour residential service unit with 32 clients. Our clients are individuals with disabilities, acquired disabilities, or neurological conditions. Requirements include a degree in nursing or public health nursing, registration as a licensed health care professional in JulkiTerhikki, vaccination against infectious diseases as per section 48 and tuberculosis screening as per section 55 of the Infectious Diseases Act, criminal record extract as required by social and health care supervision law, and proficiency in Finnish.
