Practical Nurse - Valkealan Iltatähti r.y. - Kouvola, Finland

We are looking for a practical nurse for the community living unit at Valkeala Iltatähti in the Old Iltatähti, for a fixed-term employment until September 30, 2026. Your duties include providing quality basic care to residents, promoting overall well-being, activity-based support to maintain functional capacity, respectful and individualized interaction with residents, preparing RAI assessments and care plans, as well as other responsibilities of a responsible nurse, medication administration, and planning and guiding recreational activities. The work involves two-shift rotation. We offer meaningful and varied work with the elderly, along with a friendly and multidisciplinary work community. The position requires valid medication licenses and vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act. The selected person must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on the Supervision of Social and Health Care (741/2023) before starting the job. Qualifications include a practical nurse degree and valid medication licenses.
