UTAC Automotive Testing Finland Oy, founded in 1924, is a leading vehicle testing expert operating globally in ten countries. UTAC Finland, part of the UTAC group, is an independent growth company specializing in vehicle, tire, and component testing, offering year-round winter conditions at two test centers in Ivalo for international clients, with outdoor test tracks and indoor testing halls. We are seeking a Finance Assistant for our finance team at UTAC Finland, for a fixed-term contract until the end of the year in Ivalo. The position offers an interesting, fast-paced, and international work environment with opportunities to utilize and expand your skills. The responsibilities of the Finance Assistant include diverse internal financial reporting. The role supports the smooth and accurate operation of the organization’s financial management. It is part of the finance and HR team and aims to ensure daily financial processes, support reporting, and bookkeeping. Additionally, the person will participate in daily finance and payment activities as well as tax-related tasks. The Finance Assistant works closely with the team and the group’s finance department. We value enthusiasm for taking on additional finance tasks as needed. The position requires residence in the area and the possibility to use a personal car. Responsibilities and Tasks: Processing purchase invoices and accounts receivable Monitoring invoicing and payment transactions Assisting with bookkeeping tasks (e.g., recording bank statements, reconciliations) Preparing cash flow forecasts and financial reports Using financial systems and ensuring data accuracy Collaborating with the team and stakeholders Possibly participating in tax-related tasks (e.g., VAT declarations) The work may include peak periods, such as month-end or financial year-end. Requirements: Relevant education for the role Understanding of overall financial management Interest in developing company financial processes and management Knowledge of financial systems (e.g., MS Office, financial software) Fluent Finnish and good English skills Perseverance, initiative, outgoing personality, and good teamwork skills.
