Agricultural Worker for Tractor and Crop Cultivation Work

We are seeking an proactive and hands-on person to join Antti Kröger’s farm in Siilinjärvi to assist with vegetable cultivation and daily farm tasks. The role focuses on tractor work, machinery maintenance and repair, and crop farming. The farm grows, among other things, clover seed, alfalfa, grain and hemp seed production. Experience with tractor operation and some understanding of machinery handling is preferred, but not all skills need to be learned from day one. The job requires the ability to work independently and the courage to ask for help if something is unclear. Finnish language proficiency is not a prerequisite; willingness to learn is enough, and initial work may be conducted in English or German. The aim is to find a person who wants to commit long-term to the farm; over time the role may develop toward greater responsibility and a potential stake in the farm or rental/purchase options. The job starts as full-time for the autumn period, with year-round work possible for a suitable candidate. The employment follows the Maaseuduelinkeinojen collective agreement. Salary starts at 12–16 €/hour depending on skills and experience. The farm is located about 14 kilometres from Siilinjärvi town center. Rental fields are also available in Kuopio, Siilinjärvi and Lapinlahti areas, so a driving license B and own car are required. Accommodation possibilities can be explored as needed.
