Tyks Acute Turku Joint Emergency Department is seeking 6 registered nurses. Your Role We are looking for a flexible expert in emergency nursing or someone aspiring to become one. As a registered nurse, you will work as part of the emergency department's multidisciplinary team. In the emergency department, we treat accident patients, those who have become acutely ill, and patients requiring urgent specialized medical care. We use the national guidelines of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health (STM) for assessing care needs. The work is in three-shift rotations. What We Expect From You Success in the position requires good customer service, interaction, and cooperation skills, as well as a good ability to handle pressure in a rapidly changing operating environment. We value a customer-oriented approach and an interest in developing professional skills. Previous experience in emergency nursing, casting skills, and proficiency in Swedish are considered an advantage. Eligibility requires a legal license as a registered nurse in accordance with the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994). We require good oral and written proficiency in Finnish. The selected candidate is required to complete the medication administration permit in accordance with the wellbeing services county's permit practices no later than during the probationary period. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
