Suvanto is a specialized residential unit for children aged 10-15 who benefit from intensive social functioning support and rehabilitation. The main focus of our work is children's participation in their own daily life, taking into account each child's individual needs. The childcare worker's role involves implementing education, care, and rehabilitation in accordance with child protection law. Responsibilities include creating a safe and good daily routine for children, acting as a guardian, and collaborating with families and networks. The work involves structured daily activities, visits to indoor playgrounds, and trips based on children's wishes. The ideal candidate has a neuropsychiatric approach, trauma work skills, and experience in child protection tasks. Strong interaction and cooperation skills, a positive, proactive, and independent attitude, a sense of humor, presence, and a desire to build a good daily life for children are required. A driving license and hygiene pass are necessary. The qualification requirement is a social or health care degree (e.g., social worker, nurse) and experience in child protection work. The position is permanent, starts by agreement, involves 3-shift work, and salary is based on the private social services sector collective agreement. Application deadline is June 1, 2026.
