We are seeking a fixed-term part-time teacher for classroom education at Tesoman School in Tampere. The role involves teaching 3rd to 6th grades. The position may include physical education. The position is available from August 4, 2026, to July 31, 2027. Qualifications are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel 986/1998 (class teacher qualification). The required teaching qualification; degree, subjects taught (credit points/ECTS), and pedagogical studies must be specified in detail. The required qualification must be obtained before the application deadline. In temporary positions, applicants who meet the qualification requirements are prioritized, but those without the required qualification may also be considered. We value versatile pedagogical skills and additional training supporting the role, willingness to develop, and good interaction and cooperation skills. The selected candidate must, before starting the position, submit a criminal record extract related to working with children, as required by law (504/2002) and the Criminal Records Act (770/1993) section 6, subsection 2. Part of our duties involves health status verification under the Communicable Diseases Act section 55, so a tuberculosis examination of the respiratory system may be required.
