Special Education Teacher Position - Laitilan kaupunki - Laitila, Finland

We are seeking a special education teacher for a permanent position starting August 1, 2026. The initial placement is at Kappelimäki School. The class to be taught in the upcoming school year is a special class for grades 3-4. Candidates are expected to have good collaboration skills and readiness for co-teaching. In the work community, in addition to education, experience, versatile pedagogical skills, and good teamwork skills are valued. Fulfilling the teaching position requires teamwork ability, an active and participatory work attitude, good knowledge of the curriculum, and a desire to develop the school and teaching in various ways. Certificates demonstrating eligibility (mandatory), CV, and any other certificates should be attached to the electronic application. Original certificates will be presented at a possible interview. Eligibility requirements are based on the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (986/1998). A six-month trial period will be observed in filling the position. The selected candidate must present a medical certificate of health and a criminal record extract related to working with children within 30 days of the decision.
