We are seeking a part-time early childhood education teacher for the pre-school groups at Helsinki Rudolf Steiner School. The position is permanent and begins on Monday, August 10, 2026. The working hours in the group are weekdays from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM, totaling 4.5 hours per day. The workplace is located at Paraistentie 3 (Ruskeasuo). You will be part of the pre-school team, with morning activities led by the pre-school teacher. Our pre-school follows the school's school and holiday schedule. Afternoon activities are open until Midsummer. During school holidays, you are on annual leave, but some staff may have the opportunity to continue working until Midsummer. Good Finnish language skills are essential; knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage. Studies in Steiner pedagogy or experience working in Steiner kindergartens are considered an advantage. The qualification required is the early childhood education teacher qualification as per the Early Childhood Education Act. Salary according to the Private Education Sector Collective Agreement. Qualification requirement: Early Childhood Education Act 540/2018, experience in Steiner pedagogy, and good Finnish and/or Swedish language skills are essential.
