Vaiha Oy is a family-owned restaurant company based in Mikkeli, operating since 2017. The Vaiha restaurants include Vaiha Asema at Mikkeli railway station, Restaurant Pormestari in the inner courtyard of Mikkeli City Hall, and a new lunch and catering restaurant Vaiha Elias in Mikkeli Kaukola, opening in January 2026. During the summer, terrace restaurant Pikku Pormestari operates in the courtyard of Mikkeli City Hall, offering a place to enjoy good food, drinks, music, and company. We are enthusiastic and passionate about our work. We aim to develop our operations by providing customers with high-quality restaurant experiences throughout the year, including lunches, catering, and events. We are opening a new lunch restaurant (formerly Kivijalka) in Rantakylä in August-September and are looking for a full-time, permanent cook. Your primary workplace will be the Rantakylä lunch restaurant, but work may also be in other Vaiha Oy locations, including Vaiha Elias and Restaurant Pormestari. The job includes evening and weekend work. We offer a diverse work environment and varied tasks. As a cook, your responsibilities include food preparation, plating, dishwashing, and all other cook-related tasks.
