The Department of Psychiatry at HUS is recruiting for the position of Assistant Chief Physician at the Leppävaara Mood Disorder Outpatient Clinic, specializing in Mood Disorders and General Psychiatry. There are three regional outpatient clinics for Mood Disorders and General Psychiatry, one of which is in Leppävaara. The clinic treats patients with mood disorders within its region. Multidisciplinary teams based on diagnosis operate at the clinic. The duties of the Assistant Chief Physician include overseeing and developing the multidisciplinary activities of their team in collaboration with the head physician, in accordance with the operational plan of the unit. The Assistant Chief Physician participates in clinical work, supervises resident doctors, and is the direct supervisor of other doctors working in the team. Language requirements: - Good oral and written skills in Finnish. - Satisfactory oral and written skills in Swedish, or good oral and written skills in Swedish and satisfactory skills in Finnish. Additional requirements: - Working in patient and customer areas requires vaccination against infectious diseases according to the Communicable Diseases Act. - Health status verification for working in healthcare units, specifically regarding tuberculosis.
