Job Description
The apprenticeship lasts approximately 2 to 2.5 years and combines work and study (in-person study days at Urhea Helsinki). The apprenticeship offers a well-functioning package for both the employee and the employer. The club has had several other apprentices, providing a strong peer support network. The work involves coaching and training weekly groups and teams, participating in the club's general routines, assisting with club event organization, organizing league matches (e.g., filming), and other club tasks. Working hours are mainly in weekday evenings, weekends, and partly during the day. Studies are primarily in the mornings. Working hours vary weekly, with an average of 37.5 hours per week. A key criterion is a genuine desire to train as a sports instructor through work. Additionally, we require initiative, commitment, and the ability to work with different people (especially children) both in groups, in pairs, and independently. The tasks focus on floorball, but prior knowledge of the sport is not required. However, applicants must be of legal age, as they need to be able to take responsibility for children's groups.
