We are currently seeking a Cleaning Service Supervisor for our social and healthcare client sites in Helsinki city center. We are looking for an proactive and professional service supervisor for our social and healthcare client sites in Helsinki city center. In this role, you will be part of a skilled team providing high-quality cleaning services. Your responsibilities include leading your team daily, organizing cleaning tasks, managing substitutions, and fulfilling our service commitments. You will guide and train your team but also actively participate in practical work when needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for onboarding regarding safety instructions and participate in quality control. The position is full-time (37.5 hours/week) and fixed-term until December 31, 2026. Working hours are primarily weekdays from 6 am to 6 pm. Occasionally, work on Saturdays may be required. The start date is as agreed, as soon as possible. The salary follows the Property Services Sector collective agreement, pay group 8, with possible additional compensation. Pay group 8 is €16.12/hour until July 31, 2024, and €16.55/hour from August 1, 2024. ISS is the right place for you! We expect from you: At least 3 years of previous experience as a cleaning supervisor and solid experience in the cleaning services sector, along with at least 1 year of experience working in social and healthcare facilities (e.g., health centers, assisted living units, or hospitals). Training in cleaning or property services (e.g., professional qualification in cleaning and property services). Proactive, systematic, and solution-oriented approach, even in changing situations. Enthusiasm for guiding people and a desire to help your team succeed, as well as motivation to grow as a cleaning services professional. Excellent service attitude and good communication skills. Proficiency in Finnish, both spoken and written. Knowledge of English is an advantage. Good physical condition. A valid B driver’s license (manual transmission) as you will travel between sites using our company vehicle. Presentation of an approved tuberculosis screening certificate in accordance with Section 55 of the Communicable Diseases Act is required for working at the sites. Work in social and healthcare services requires vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act. A clean criminal background; due to the work environment, a criminal record extract from the Criminal Records Register in accordance with Act 504/2002 is required for those working with children.
