S2 Developer Teacher - Kouvolan kaupunki - Kouvola, Finland

The City of Kouvola is seeking an S2 developer teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year for a fixed-term position to develop Finnish as a second language and literature (S2) instruction in basic education. The position is related to an OPH-funded project aimed at enhancing the quality, consistency, and language-aware operational culture of S2 teaching in Kouvola. Job Description You will work at Eskolanmäki S2 Resource Center in collaboration with S2 experts and a network of partner teachers. Your responsibilities include: Coordinating and supporting S2 teaching development work in schools; Implementing curriculum-based practices; Supporting teacher network activities; Developing pedagogical materials and operational models; Strengthening a language-aware operational culture. Qualifications and Skills We require: Teaching qualification; Experience in teaching; Collaboration and interaction skills.
