We are always on the lookout for a talent with a growth mindset – are you the one?    We are looking for a Supplier Development Engineer with a main responsibility in Catalyst, Auxillary and Fuel Gas Supply System. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland but also Helsinki and Turku, Finland are option. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.   Your role and responsibilities    As a Supplier Development Engineer your work will include: Actively support new product introduction and lead proactive quality assurance activities for supplier deliveries Analyse supplier performance and capabilities, identify development opportunities and drive impactful development actions Develop and execute supplier development action plans to improve supplier performance Support suppliers with their operational development initiatives in relation to cost, quality and delivery Execute supplier audits and audit follow-up according to supplier development action plan and verify impact You’ll be working as a part of impact-driven Supplier Development team and supporting Catalyst, Auxillary and Fuel Gas Supply Systems teams with diverse expertise. Requirements for the position: Hands-on experience in welding processes combined with solid knowledge of quality management practices Hands-on experience in assembly processes in industrial environment Strong personal drive for identifying development potential and proactively lead development initiatives across suppliers and internal stakeholders Result-oriented mindset with a proven ability to turn analysis into measurable impact on quality, delivery and cost Structured and analytical way of working, with strong problem-solving capabilities Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to lead initiatives and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams Ability to apply lean principles and statistical process control in daily work for driving sustainable process improvement    Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering (preferred) or Economics/Business Administration, or equivalent qualification 3–5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, supplier development, or quality engineering within an industrial environment Fluency in English, both written and spoken Willingness to travel as required for supplier development activities Previous auditing experience or lead auditor qualification (e.g. ISO 9001) is considered an advantage Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is considered an advantage   Why you and us?     You are valued – as your true self.
