Summer Employees for Teknikum Production in Sastamala - RTK-Henkilöstöpalvelu Oy

The available summer positions are in injection molding and compression molding production. Work is available from June to the end of August. During weeks 29–30, production will be halted, and work may not be available. The work is physical production work, mainly performed on your feet and involving a lot of movement during the day. A good basic fitness level is required due to the high daily step count. The work is fast-paced and performed in a rotating 3-shift schedule. Tasks include operating production machines, handling, finishing, and quality assurance of products. The work also involves precise tasks with small hand tools, recording measurement results, and reporting. The work environment is a production facility where temperatures can sometimes be warmer than normal. Please note that the production environment contains chemicals, and handling them is part of the job, so it is not suitable for individuals with asthma or significant allergies. Candidate Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Good physical condition (especially in the compression molding department where products can be heavy), Precision and good manual dexterity, Willingness to work in shifts; previous shift work experience is an advantage, Own transportation for commuting to work. The hourly wage for this position is initially 12.41 €/h, but skills and experience may influence the pay. In addition to the hourly wage, shift allowances according to the collective agreement for Kumiteollisuus employees are paid. After orientation, the employee will be part of the production bonus system, with an average level of about 2–3 €/h. Orientation is estimated to last about 4 weeks.
