Job Description
The position is located in the Customer Relations and Information Department, within the Recognition of Qualifications and Language Skills Unit. The Customer Relations and Information Department provides national services for competence development and verification, promotes the utilization of information, and is a strategic partner in the agency's management and service development. The Recognition of Qualifications and Language Skills Unit is responsible for tasks and registers related to general language examinations, government language examinations, language proficiency testing for integration training, the authorized translator examination system, and the court interpreter register. Additionally, the unit is responsible for granting professional eligibility based on foreign qualifications, tasks of the competent authority in recognizing professional qualifications, and national dissemination of frameworks for qualifications, academic recognition, and the Professional Qualifications Directive. The specialist's tasks are related to language and translator examinations. The duties include maintaining, developing, and using digital systems related to government language examinations, as well as daily customer service and communication with clients and stakeholders. The work involves communicative and guiding cooperation related to language examinations, for example, with examination organizers and recipients. The specialist acts as the secretary of the government language examinations committee and as the presenter for general language examination evaluator applications, as well as other tasks related to language examinations that can be agreed upon separately.
