Heat Pump and Refrigeration Technology Expert

We are seeking a Heat Pump and Refrigeration Technology Expert to join Upheat Solutions, a technology startup developing groundbreaking high-temperature heat pump technology to recycle waste heat from industrial processes. The hire will be responsible for sizing and modeling the refrigerant cycle of the heat pump, including integration of heat recovery and usage side models, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role requires strong knowledge of refrigerant cycles, various refrigerants, and EN-378/CE directives. The candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in the field, and excellent Finnish and English language skills. Occasional travel within Finland and Europe is expected; a remote work option is available, and some travel to partner sites will be necessary. The Tampere area will house Upheat’s factory and office space.
