Substitutes are needed during the school year for teaching positions of various lengths in basic education and upper secondary education in Konnevesi. There is a need for substitutes in classroom teaching and subject teaching. The qualification requirements for teaching staff are determined by Regulation 1998/986. Applicants must present a criminal record extract as defined by the Act on Criminal Background Checks for Persons Working with Children (504/2002). Those studying to become teachers or otherwise interested in substitutes can also register, with employment assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the task and the length of the substitute period. To apply as a substitute, submit an application to the substitute teacher register. The applicant must keep contact and other information up to date. Attach certificates proving teacher qualifications to the application form. Note! The attachment must show the completed degree and qualifying studies (e.g., pedagogical studies 60 credits, multidisciplinary studies 60 credits, subject teaching qualifications 60 credits). If the applicant does not have teacher qualifications, attach another degree certificate. Ensure confidential information is concealed if necessary.
