Production Manager / Supervisor - Länsihydro Oy - Pori, Finland

Länsihydro has operated at a single location in Pori for approximately 30 years, specializing in hydraulic cylinder manufacturing and maintenance. The company is certified with ISO 9001 and 3834-2 quality systems. Its products are used in maritime, mining, construction machinery, and industrial sectors. Major customers include Kongsberg Maritime, SSAB, LAI-MU, and Stena Recycling. We are seeking a production manager with the title of PRODUCTION MANAGER or SUPERVISOR. Your main responsibility will be to oversee scheduling and task distribution to employees. Depending on your skills and interests, the role may include duties related to occupational safety management, work planning, or purchasing tools. In daily work, you will direct machinists and welders as they produce components or larger assemblies based on customer drawings or our own designs. You will collaborate with production staff, sales, invoicing, planning, purchasing, and logistics teams. Success in this role requires the ability to read drawings and previous experience managing machine shop production. Experience in machining and/or welding management within a production environment is beneficial. Suitable educational background could be an engineering degree or other relevant qualification. Any experience with hydraulics, cylinders, seals, or other components is considered an advantage.
