We are hiring a registered nurse for Saarijärvi Hospital for a fixed-term employment until October 4, 2026. Where will you work? Saarijärvi Hospital's 30-bed acute ward offers a versatile working environment where we care for adult patients regardless of specialty. Patients mainly come to our ward from Nova's joint emergency service, specialized care units, and some from outpatient health care emergency points. We value work-life balance. As a nurse, you are responsible for immediate patient care, including monitoring health status, performing various measurements, medication administration, participating in doctor rounds, basic care, and documentation in the patient information system. Your tasks also include indirect care tasks such as medication ordering, receiving medications, and tasks related to your areas of responsibility. In addition to the task-specific salary, we pay a work experience bonus of 3% from 5 years and 8% from 10 years of experience. Please note the good working conditions in the public sector, such as holiday entitlement. Holiday accrual is based on your work experience – the more experience, the more earned holiday days. The team spends 1-2 days a year on well-being activities.
