Job Description
We are seeking a salon supervisor for our client in the busy winter season in Rovaniemi. In this role, you will be a key person in building the customer experience by managing the salon operations during your shift and ensuring smooth service from start to finish. This is a fixed-term position for the 2026-2027 season. The work begins in October and continues until the end of March, with 90 hours/3 weeks. The employment contract is between the employee and StaffPoint. The location is slightly outside the center of Rovaniemi. We will provide more information about the workplace during the interview. We can also assist with finding accommodation in Rovaniemi if needed! What will you do? As a salon supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall management of your shift, including people, atmosphere, and service quality. You will lead the team through practical tasks and ensure that every customer interaction is successful. Your tasks include, among others: - Managing the salon shift and organizing work - Ensuring service quality throughout the shift - Guiding, supporting, and onboarding the serving team - Actively participating in customer service - Ensuring smooth cooperation with the kitchen - Resolving daily situations and managing the overall picture The role combines supervisory responsibilities with hands-on work, making you a visible part of the team and customer experience. What do we expect from you? We are looking for a person with a genuine desire to lead service and create a functional, positive work environment. We hope you have: - Experience in customer service in the restaurant industry (à la carte environment is a plus) - Previous experience in shift management or readiness to grow into the role - Good communication and teamwork skills - Serving and hygiene certificates - Fluent English skills (Finnish is a plus)
