Personal Assistant

A Personal Assistant position in Miehikkälä. You will support clients in living their own, full lives by providing everyday assistance to people who need help due to illness or disability. You will assist with household chores and activities outside the home. Each client may have different needs and tasks are tailored to the client’s condition and individual support requirements. The job is varied and can include several different assignments in one day. A driver’s license and access to a car are required to perform the work. No specific training or prior experience is necessary; a positive attitude toward care work and willingness to learn are enough. All new assistants receive thorough onboarding in Onni’s own Assistant Academy before starting, and orientation continues as needed during work. Ongoing guidance and support are provided by your team supervisor, so you are never alone with questions or challenges. Work is typically in two shifts on weekdays and weekends. Shift lengths vary from two hours and up, and a workday may involve one or more clients. You can influence your shifts and work part-time or on a casual basis to suit your life situation. We consider both client needs and our assistants’ work preferences to align schedules. The first shift for a client can be an onboarding shift if needed, after which both assistant and client can evaluate collaboration and compatibility. If you later feel something isn’t working as planned, we will discuss it together and find a suitable solution. If you wish, you can work for more than one client with coordinated timetables. Requirements include: B2-level Finnish language skills; driving license and access to a car if needed; being of legal age.
