Job Description
We are looking for a fixed-term social worker for the Ankkuri team in the Satakunta wellbeing services county. The position is located within the service area for children, youth, and families. The substitution begins as agreed and continues until December 31, 2028. In the Satakunta wellbeing services county, Ankkuri operations are administratively centralized under the Lounatuuli Family Center. Ankkuri operations are based on multi-agency cooperation, where experts from the police, social services, and health services work together at a police station. The social worker's workstation will be primarily located at the Rauma police station. The goal of Ankkuri operations is early intervention in the criminal behavior of minors, a holistic assessment of the young client's life situation and need for help, and guidance toward help and support. Additionally, the goals include rapid intervention in domestic and family violence and increasing internal security through multidisciplinary cooperation. The duties of the Ankkuri team social worker include, among other things, processing child welfare notifications, assessing service needs, and managing client relationships in accordance with the Social Care Act for families with children, if the client relationship remains with Ankkuri. The social worker participates in police interrogations and interviews and provides guidance and advice on matters related to the criminal process. The work includes solo work, pair work, team work, and network work. In our multidisciplinary work community, we want to pull together, supporting and respecting one another. We expect you to have the desire to support and create a good working atmosphere through your own actions. We value good cooperation and interaction skills, an active multidisciplinary approach to work, and a positive attitude toward development. Experience in social care and specialized expertise in crime support the ability to succeed in the role. Performing the duties requires good oral and written skills in Finnish. We offer you versatile, responsible, and challenging work in an evolving work environment. Additionally, we provide the support of a professional team and supervisor for your work. Work supervision and professional development within an expert community are also provided. The wellbeing services county offers various opportunities to support occupational wellbeing, including an occupational wellbeing grant of 100 €/year, flexible working hours, and the possibility of remote work. The eligibility requirement is the qualification of a social worker according to the Act on Social Care Professionals (817/2015). Working hours are 37 hours and 45 minutes per week. A driver's license and the use of a private car are desirable for performing the duties. The terms of employment and remuneration are determined according to the SOTE agreement. The position-specific salary is 4,305 euros per month. Start of work as agreed. A six-month probationary period applies to the appointment. The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act, if their work involves working with children and elderly persons, in the manner prescribed in the Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children (504/2002) or the Act on the Supervision of Social and Health Care (741/2023). Professional qualifications will be verified via JulkiTerhi/Suosikki.
