Job Description
Sweco is seeking a Process Mechanical and Piping Inspector to oversee mechanical equipment and piping installations across Finland. The role involves ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. Focus areas include welding quality, pressure testing, inspections, hygiene requirements, and coordination with contractors. Tasks include supervising installation work, coordinating manufacturing, installation, and testing activities, monitoring welding quality, and overseeing pressure testing and NDT activities. Collaboration with QA/QC engineers on inspections, ITPs, NCRs, and corrective actions is essential. The role requires frequent travel to various project sites across Finland. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial or energy projects, with strong supervision skills in mechanical and piping work, ability to read technical drawings, and relevant welding certifications. Knowledge of PED, IWS, IWT, or IWE certifications and experience in complex process plants are advantageous. Apply by 10.8.2026.
