In Espoo, we examine pedagogy from the perspective of positive upbringing. We support children's self-awareness, learning, and discovering their strengths through play and movement. We are seeking a childcare worker to work in a unit with children needing support. You will work together with the rest of the daycare staff to support each child's development and learning within their own group. Differentiating activities and small group work enable us to offer children experiences of success, appropriate challenges, and opportunities to grow according to their strengths. Additional resources allow for more purposeful small group activities in daily routines. The position may be assigned to early childhood education or preschool depending on the situation and needs. The assignment is reviewed annually, so the unit may change. Currently, the position is located at Suurpellon Daycare in the Kuovit preschool group. We value interest and experience in working with children requiring support, in accordance with inclusion principles. We expect good cooperation and interaction skills, a sensitive approach, and a desire to develop a communal activity culture.
