Job Description
In the Naantali home care island team, you will independently care for clients' daily needs—never alone. You will primarily work in Naantali home care within the island team, a close-knit and skilled unit of 12 members. Your work involves meaningful daily care at clients' homes, often independently and away from the office. Your workday consists of diverse home care tasks that combine your professional skills, customer orientation, and decision-making ability in varying situations. The island environment brings its own characteristics; the work requires planning, problem-solving skills, and readiness to work independently. You will collaborate closely with the team and ensure good communication. You will also utilize systems such as OMNI360 and RAI. Work is performed in two shifts according to communal shift planning, allowing you to influence your work schedule. We provide thorough and individualized orientation, considering your previous experience and skills. You will be supported by an experienced and long-standing team that values and shares expertise. In your work, you will be able to utilize and develop your professional skills in practical work. The communal shift planning offers flexibility and the opportunity to influence your work rhythm. We expect you to be proactive, have strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented approach. Success in the role requires good cooperation and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently. We hope you have experience in home care, good Finnish language skills, and readiness to work in varying situations. Additionally, a driving license and the ability to use your own car are essential due to the nature and location of the work. An active LOVe medication license is considered an advantage (possibility to obtain through the employer within an agreed timeframe), experience working with the elderly, and skills in OMNI360 and RAI. The qualification requirement is a professional basic degree in social and health care (practical nurse) or an earlier school-level qualification in the field, along with a valid registration in JulkiTerhikki and JulkiSuosikki registers. Work in the archipelago is not just a job; it is a way to do nursing close to people, with your professional skills and personal solutions. If this sounds like you, submit your application and join us in making everyday life meaningful—one encounter at a time. We are progressing with recruitment during the application period and will fill the position once a suitable candidate is found.
