Job Description
Kaiku HR is seeking multiple workers for RMC (Rauma Marine Constructions) at the Rauma shipyard for significant projects in the shipbuilding industry. You have the opportunity to join a team building modern icebreakers, defense ships, and world-class special vessels. Each of these ships is a masterpiece of technology and sustainability. Currently, there are two openings for CRANE OPERATORS. As a crane operator, you will reinforce large metal plates by adding stiffeners, making the plates more durable for subsequent stages such as robotic welding. This work is a vital part of the shipbuilding production chain, and its quality directly affects structures that will withstand the sea for decades. Your tasks include: - Reinforcing plates (stiffening) - Positioning of stiffeners - Spot welding before robotic welding - Manual straightening before further processing - Working as part of a production team We require from you: - Interest in shipyard and mechanical workshop work - Previous experience and/or training in metal work - Careful and proactive work attitude - Ability to work in a team - Valid safety and hot work certificates - Willingness to work in shifts Please note that selected candidates will undergo a basic security clearance.
