Job Description
Join Hyria! We encourage enthusiasm and success. We are looking for a coach for our new services in the Riihimäki area. The position is temporary, from June 22, 2026, to December 22, 2026 (or start date as agreed, as soon as possible). The coach will be part of the Education and Employment Guidance services sector. We provide services to municipalities, employment regions, wellbeing areas, and Kela. As a coach, your task is to support and guide our clients in achieving their individual goals. These goals relate to finding a career path and employment, as well as strengthening agency and skills for studying and working. The coach is responsible for the entire client coaching process from interview to assessment. You will plan and implement goal-oriented coaching at individual and group levels, requiring strong skills in targeted individual guidance and group coaching. The coach also documents and records, and provides online coaching for individuals and groups as needed. Multidisciplinary collaboration with service providers, stakeholders, and employers is essential to ensure clients' continued pathways. The work is independent, but you will also work with teams and networks. You are creative, proactive, and active. You are familiar with employment-promoting services and comfortable working in various environments and services. You are the right person if you have a suitable higher education degree (social services, community pedagogy) and extensive practical experience in various tasks within the field. Good communication skills, networking, organizational ability, and initiative are required. The work involves mobile, face-to-face work in the Riihimäki area and Hyrian operational region, and a driver’s license is necessary. The work is mainly daytime, with the primary office located in Riihimäki. Terms of employment and salary are based on the YTES collective agreement for the private sector. The base salary for qualified employees is €2,283.44 - €2,979.76 per month. Final salary depends on education level, work experience, and other skills. Before starting, the selected candidate must provide an acceptable health certificate and a criminal record extract as required by law (Act 504/2002) concerning working with children. A trial period applies. In addition to the primary office, work area includes Hyrian consortium’s operational region with its workplaces.
