Job Description
Eltel Communication business unit is seeking a designer. The position will be based at the Kempele office. The employment is permanent and will start as soon as possible according to the agreement. The designer's tasks include the detailed planning and documentation of fixed telecommunication networks built for operators. The role involves field planning, obtaining land use permits, and preparing work maps, connection diagrams, and cost estimates. Active collaboration with stakeholders is an essential part of the job. We require a relevant educational background (Bachelor of Engineering, information/communication, electrical, or civil engineering) or solid experience in the field. Knowledge of network information systems used by operators (NIMS, Keycom, SNET) and experience in earthworks or field planning tasks are considered an advantage. Proficiency in Finnish and English, as well as good IT skills, are required. You are proactive, resilient under pressure, positive and firm, with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
