Job Description

Our client is a Finnish industrial company internationally known for its high-quality machinery, with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability. The companys headquarter is in Vaasa region, with sales offices in Sweden and outside Europe. Annual revenue is 40-50 MEUR, and employees close to 100. To support continued growth, the company is strengthening its teams in Vaasa and internationally and is now looking for a CFO. The CFO is a key business partner responsible for financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management, supporting decision-making across the organization. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on involvement close to the business. Your key responsibilities include being a member of the group management team, financial reporting and forecasting including group consolidation, cash flow management; bank relationships and external funding (e.g., loans or grants), leading Finance, HR and IT and developing the ERP system, supporting customer financing solutions (e.g., leasing, floorplan), driving financial processes and business control, acting as Secretary of the Board and supporting governance and legal matters. To succeed in this role, you will have a relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, a minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in international manufacturing or product-based business, strong competence in financial reporting and controlling, experience in financing, ERP development, and leadership, strong stakeholder communication skills and international mindset, and good communication skills in Finnish, Swedish, and English. The ideal candidate is a business-driven, analytical leader with a proactive and hands-on approach, capable of driving performance and supporting growth in an international environment.
