Maintenance Technician (Electrical and Automation) - Valio Oy - Remote - Global

Are you interested in working in a modern food industry production environment where you can solve technical problems, develop production, and work with a skilled maintenance team? We are now looking for a fixed-term electrical and automation maintenance technician at Vantaa factory. The employment is fixed until 31.12.2027. The working hours are in two shifts, usually continuous. Suitable education/qualifications include basic or vocational qualification in electrical and automation fields. The job involves troubleshooting electrical and automation faults on production lines, sensor and motor faults, maintenance of PLC-controlled devices, and preventive maintenance in collaboration with production. A key part of the work is also documenting maintenance in information systems. You will participate in problem-solving and development projects according to your skills. To succeed in this role, you need good problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, good teamwork skills, self-direction, and willingness to learn. Education in electrical/automation field and fluent Finnish language skills are required. Advantageous are previous experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, especially in food or process industry, automation and control technology skills, experience with maintenance systems like SAP, M-Files, and Microsoft Office, and valid hygiene passport, safety card, and fire safety card. Skills in welding and machining are also beneficial.
