We are seeking a sector secretary for the education sector's secretariat in Taivalkoski, starting 1.8.2026 or as agreed. The role involves broad coordination, preparation, and administrative tasks within education services, including customer service, communication, and use of related systems. Responsibilities include preparing the sector's budget, education committee agenda, taking meeting minutes, and participating in decision implementation and reporting. The role requires independent process management, collaboration, and digital skills, as well as good written communication skills. The candidate should have experience in secretarial or office tasks, preferably in municipal administration, with skills in finance and HR administration. The position requires a suitable lower university degree or vocational qualification, excellent Finnish language skills, and the ability to produce reports and documents. Salary is based on KVTES, with a base of 2870 €/month plus possible additional allowances. The workweek is 36 hours and 15 minutes. The employment is subject to a six-month trial period.
