We are looking for a new team member for our growing operations. The role involves significant responsibility and the team member is valued. Our teams have been among the top performers at the client company. Work takes place at customer sites in the Helsinki area and includes installation of new pipe lines and fiber optic cables. Reporting: To the field team leader Salary: Collective agreement, based on experience and education Working hours: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) Experience: Experience in fiber optic network construction is considered an advantage Our client is seeking a full-time employee for the Helsinki metropolitan area (work may also extend outside the Helsinki area). Tasks include installing fiber optic cables underground and indoors. Job description The ideal candidate works with international team members in the Helsinki area. Basic skills in English and Finnish are sufficient. Working hours are from 7:00 to 15:30, but there may be a need for overtime to complete work. The work begins immediately and is permanent if the candidate meets the requirements. Requirements - Ability to organize and plan own work and schedules, with evidence of previous experience in this area. - Proven skills in operating excavators quickly, accurately, and safely. Working in an urban environment requires precision, decision-making skills, and risk management expertise. - Education or certifications are a big plus. - Class B driving license (manual transmission) required. - Experience in problem-solving, preferably in the IT sector. - Good attitude, team player, able to adapt quickly to different work environments. - Ability to work under pressure and flexibly. - Knowledge of electrical tools and their safe use.
