We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer. Maintenance Engineer, initial placement unit Technical Services/Property Maintenance Seinäjoki. Start date negotiable, as soon as possible. Property maintenance employs approximately 25 people, currently based at the hospital campus. The team’s responsibilities include maintenance and upkeep of HVAC systems and equipment, property care of owned properties, and maintenance of hospital equipment. The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and renovation of the main hospital’s (HVA) power distribution network. The distribution network includes 20 kV distribution, transformers, switchgear, as well as external area networks and their auxiliary systems and equipment, from metering to compensation. Tasks also include maintenance and upkeep of backup power systems and their distribution systems, as well as UPS systems and periodic testing and inspections. Additional tasks include maintenance of lighting and systems, such as safety and emergency lighting, smart lighting, and cutting lights. The role also involves other team responsibilities, procurement preparation, and project management. Employees should understand inter-team cooperation within the service unit and be aware of their role and responsibilities within the wellbeing region’s operations. Qualifications include a suitable higher education degree. Experience in electrical work, electrical certifications, and maintenance of building technology systems are considered an advantage. Employment terms and salary are based on the applicable HYVTES agreement, with a starting salary of €3,360.03/month. A probationary period applies. A certificate of health is required.
