Documentation Engineer - Etteplan Oyj - Remote - Global

We are looking for brave and innovative engineering-minded professionals to join Etteplan! We seek a Documentation Engineer for a permanent position in Turku or Vaasa, serving leading machinery and equipment manufacturers. The work is on-site and remote as needed, with occasional presence at customer or Etteplan premises in Turku or Vaasa. Your tasks include producing user and maintenance instructions or spare parts manuals, familiarizing yourself with customer products and technical solutions, and creating documentation content supporting product lifecycle for various audiences, such as end-users and maintenance teams. You will work independently but closely with customers and our staff. We value initiative, organization, and a customer-oriented attitude. Key success factors include understanding and explaining technical issues clearly in Finnish and English, with relevant technical education and experience in technical documentation preferred. Experience with layout software like FrameMaker, structured documentation, AI utilization, content management systems, and image editing skills are advantageous. Excellent written and spoken Finnish and English are required.
