Team Leader - Destia Oy - Tampere

Join us as a team leader to develop your team and create infrastructure planning that improves people's quality of life. In this role, you will combine leadership and project work. You will lead a close-knit expert team focusing on road, street, area, and water supply planning, as well as rail and tram projects. You will be responsible for growing and developing your team and managing customer work in your area. Your tasks will be split approximately equally between leadership and project work. As a leader, you will plan and develop your team's activities and skills, and support your experts. In project work, you will act as a project manager and expert according to your strengths. Your work is part of Destia's vision "Infra for People": designing and building infrastructure that serves all citizens—dreamers, cyclists, families, and those needing smooth connections in daily life. The position is permanent, with your office either in Kuopio or Tampere. Our hybrid model allows flexible working, but leadership requires presence at the office. Your key responsibilities include daily team management, utilizing your expertise in project work, developing your team's skills, successfully executing customer projects, and ensuring business development and profitability with other leaders. You need a relevant technical university degree (AMK or DI), experience in infrastructure planning and project management, clear communication skills in Finnish, and leadership experience is a plus but not mandatory.
