Experienced electrical designer

We are seeking an experienced electrical designer for versatile design and expert tasks in electrical, telecoms and safety systems for properties in Jyväskylä. As an electrical designer you participate in project design across its phases, working closely with clients, other designers and the project organization. You will be responsible to ensure that design solutions are functional, high quality and meet client needs. Our assignments cover a wide range of building types, such as shopping centres, day-care centres, hospitals, schools, museums, industrial buildings and residential buildings. The varied sites provide an opportunity to develop skills broadly and deepen expertise according to your interests. In Jyväskylä you will work in a team of about ten electrical and telecom designers. Our daily work blends strong local teamwork with low hierarchy and smooth collaboration with Sweco’s other experts. The Jyväskylä office is located near the city center with good transport links; we have modern work and meeting facilities and comfortable break rooms. To succeed in the role you should have a completed electrical engineering education (AMK/DI) and several years of electrical design experience. You are professional, ready to challenge yourself and bring a positive attitude. We use AutoCAD (Magicad) and Revit, and prior experience with these tools is desirable. Proficiency in written and spoken Finnish enables work on domestic projects; English language skills allow taking on responsibility in our international projects. Transforming society together.
