As a Catering Manager, you are responsible for the implementation of catering projects from planning to completion. We are seeking a catering manager for Factory Virtatalo to take overall responsibility for the operational execution of catering events and to develop the activity further. The work begins according to agreement with a thorough orientation, in August 2026. We expect you to have a proactive and responsible attitude and the ability to adapt to various customer events. You enjoy diverse workdays and appreciate that no two days are the same. You will succeed in this role when ensuring that the customer experience promised by sales is delivered in practice with quality, control, and professionalism. Your practical tasks include planning and executing catering events operationally, leading and managing events on-site, training and guiding staff to ensure smooth operations, ensuring the quality of events: food, service, and overall experience, collaborating closely with Factory’s sales team, participating in catering sales by responding to inquiries, ensuring that the offered packages are feasible in practice, developing catering operations and building effective operational models, preparing food for events and ensuring high quality. We provide strong administrative support and orientation. We expect you to have a solid background in catering or kitchens. Location and mobility: Your primary workplace is located at Factory Virtatalo (Rajatorpantie 8, 01600 Vantaa, Myyrmäki). The work may include travel to event sites and between locations. You will also be responsible for transporting catering packages, so a driver’s license is essential. When the catering season is quieter, you will focus on developing, planning, and streamlining catering activities. You will be part of Virtatalo’s daily operations and serve as a key contact for Factory’s restaurants regarding catering and events. Working hours: The working hours are mainly weekday mornings but will adapt to catering schedules.
