Job Description

Your ideas turn into excursions of joy in learning, under your leadership! We are seeking an early childhood education teacher for Touhula Freesia in Kangasala. For us at Touhula, children and families are at the heart of everything. Together with them, we create a happy childhood and a good working life in the most beloved daycare, which is our shared community. At Touhula, early childhood education is much more than plans and routines. It is everyday insights and people who have the right to influence. Working in small groups provides an opportunity to be present and to influence children’s daily lives meaningfully. Perhaps you will be the new member of our team whose impact leaves a warm mark for the future? What kind of daycare is Touhula Freesia? At Touhula Freesia, we are a small, warm-hearted daycare with two groups, where art is part of everyday life and learning. Our daycare is located in the center of Kangasala, with good transportation connections. We operate in modern facilities that support small group activities and individual growth of children. It is important for us that the environment adapts to the children’s wishes and needs, and that their voice is heard and visible in our daily routines. We have a positive and energetic atmosphere! We implement an art theme in everyday activities together with children through art. We are a committed and enthusiastic team that dares to try new things and develop our activities together. We regularly go on excursions and enjoy nature and local cultural offerings in collaboration with our partner Kimmo Pyykkö Art Museum. In our community, we support each other through daily challenges and celebrate successes together. Every employee is an important part of the team, and being present in children’s daily lives is our core value. We are now looking for two early childhood education teachers. The work begins in August 2026. We also hope the applicant has an interest in the deputy director role starting from November 2026. Send your application and join us in building meaningful daily experiences with children. We are already looking forward to getting to know you!
