We are hiring a class teacher or Finnish as a Second Language (S2) teacher for the STEP training program at the Järvenpää campus for a fixed-term employment from August 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027. The role includes teaching tasks in adult basic education (literacy phase). The position also involves responsibilities as the group’s lead teacher. The position requires qualification as a class teacher or S2 teacher and experience in teaching immigrant youth and adults. Experience in adult basic education and teaching reading and writing skills is considered an advantage. Salary and working conditions are based on the collective agreement for private education sector teaching staff. The employment relationship includes a trial period of up to half of the employment duration. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as specified in section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act before starting the position. Interested?
