AALTOVOIMA - POWER OF THE WAVE We are looking for a mechanical assembler for our client company in Joensuu for a full-time position. Our client is a Finnish manufacturer established in 1983, financially stable, specializing in surface treatment systems and equipment for industry, providing comprehensive custom solutions from design to installation and maintenance. As a mechanical assembler, you will work on assembling, installing, and equipping various industrial devices. The work is primarily on-site at production facilities as part of a skilled team, but may also include visits and installations at customer sites during different project phases. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in mechanical assembly as well as modern automation systems. The employment begins as a fixed-term contract with Aaltovoima, with the goal of a long-term position. If cooperation goes well, there is a good chance of permanent employment with the client company. Your tasks: * Mechanical assembly and installation of industrial equipment and systems. * Participate in the installation and integration of automation components and other systems. * Work according to mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and other technical documentation. * Participate in testing, quality assurance, and commissioning phases in production. * Collaborate closely with production, electricians, and the design team. We expect: * Relevant technical education (e.g., mechanical and metal industry, maintenance, mechatronics, or automation installation) and previous experience in mechanical assembly. * Understanding or experience in installing or maintaining automation and pneumatic systems. * Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical documents fluently. * You handle tools well, are meticulous, and produce quality installation work. * Initiative, responsibility, a positive attitude towards work, and teamwork skills. * A driving license B and readiness to travel as needed.
