Vantaan kaupunki, Kasvatus ja oppiminen, Varhaiskasvatus Suitsikujan ty Kimokuja 5, 01200 Vantaa Työsuhteen kesto: Määräaikainen 17.08.2026 tai sopimuksen mukaan - 31.12.2026 We are looking for a motivated and professional early childhood education social pedagogue developer for the Suitsikujan operational unit at Kimokuja daycare. Could it be you? The daycare is located in Hakunila with good transportation connections. Nearby parks, forests, and the manor area provide excellent learning environments, and weekly outings are part of our activities. The role emphasizes bullying prevention, supporting children's emotional and peer skills, and supporting and developing parenting. You will participate in multidisciplinary teamwork and, if necessary, guide families to other child and family services. Key areas of work: - Implementation of early childhood education - Participate in planning, executing, and evaluating your unit’s activities. - Well-being work, support for growth and development - Early identification and response to needs related to children's social skills, peer skills, well-being, growth, and development. - Interaction and collaboration - Cooperation with families and guardians, and professional interaction within the work community and teams. - Evaluation and development - Evaluation of the unit’s activities and active development of work practices from a social pedagogical perspective. Evaluation and development of practices supporting participation and well-being in collaboration with staff. What we expect from you: - Knowledge of the early childhood education plan and law - Cooperation skills - Expertise in children's social and peer skills development and support, as well as strengths and challenges in parenting - Experience with early childhood education methods, well-being, growth, and development - Independent and developmental work approach - Ability to promote practices that support community, participation, and equality - Good written and spoken Finnish skills.
