Job Description
Kelo Resort is located in the village of Yli-Kyrö in Enontekiö, (45 minutes from Levi), right on the edge of one of Finland's largest national parks, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. The area offers a peaceful and uncrowded environment – here you can still experience the magic of original Lapland. Kelo Resort will open its doors for the autumn foliage season in September 2026 and for the winter season on December 1, 2026. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled head chef. This is a unique opportunity to work in a growing company and be involved in creating something new. We work together – you can truly influence things and share your opinions! As the head chef, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen, the implementation of high-quality food products, and leading the kitchen team. You will build an experiential guest experience together with the rest of the team and ensure that operations are of high quality, efficient, and profitable. You will also participate in developing operational procedures, menus, and service. You will succeed in this role if you have education and/or several years of experience in supervisory roles in a kitchen, proven skills in organizing kitchen operations, quality control, and personnel management, work systematically and can make decisions even under pressure, have a strong understanding of cost tracking, waste management, and profitable operations, possess a valid hygiene passport, and have at least Finnish and English language skills.
