Welcome to work in Kainuu in adult mental health services! We have an open position for a psychologist in the mental health and substance abuse unit in Kajaani. Our unit treats both mild and severe mental health disorders. Our workspaces are located at Kainuu Central Hospital. The current vacancy is within the multidisciplinary outpatient team for adult mental health services. The psychologist's work emphasizes psychological assessments and evaluations. In addition to assessments, the psychologist conducts evaluations and case analyses related to treatment processes and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. The psychologist acts as an expert in their field within our unit and participates in network work. Supervision is arranged, and the employer is supportive of training. Qualifications include a licensed psychologist. We require vaccination against infectious diseases in accordance with section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act. We hope applicants have experience or interest in the investigation and treatment of mental health disorders, good collaboration skills, and suitability for network and team work. If experience has not yet been gained, our experienced staff will support and assist in onboarding. The salary is based on the job complexity assessment confirmed by the Kainuu wellbeing services county. Basic salary 4539.15 €/month. Applications are accepted via Kuntarekry. Trial period 6 months.
