Excavator Operators for Mining Area - Worker Kainuu Oy

Do you have experience operating excavators and an interest in working in a mining environment? We are looking for excavator operators for our client at the Terrafame mining site. The tasks include various excavator operations according to your skills, such as loading, long-reach excavator use, and other typical mining tasks. The machines used range from 20 to 100 tons. The work is responsible and requires confident machine handling and a safe working approach in a mining environment. The work is on a 5/5 schedule, meaning five days on and five days off. Shifts are 12 hours long. The position is available until the end of August 2026, with potential for extension within the project. Accommodation is arranged for traveling workers. You are suitable for this job if you have: Previous experience as an excavator operator, Readiness for 12-hour shifts (day and night shifts) and a 5/5 work rhythm, Safe and independent work attitude, At least a B-class driving license and your own car for easy commuting. It is a plus (but not mandatory) if you also have: Experience with 3D equipment, Previous experience in the mining or infrastructure sector. We offer you: Salary according to the collective agreement or better, paid on time. Your hourly wage in this role ranges from 15 to 19 euros, depending on your skills and experience.
