Hiring Banquet Server for Versatile Tasks, Currently in Force, Full-Time Employment - Gustavelund Oy - Tuusula, Finland

We are looking for a proud professional banquet server to join a private family business at Hotel Gustavelund. Our hotel is located on the shores of Lake Tuusula in a beautiful park-like setting, about 15 minutes from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and a half-hour drive from Helsinki city center. Our clientele consists of groups gathering for meetings, training sessions, and various corporate events, for which we prepare meeting catering, group dinners, and buffet meals. We deliver high-quality and diverse products that change regularly: daily hotel breakfast and lunch, and in the evenings, we serve à la carte in addition to banquets. On weekends, we offer brunches and are also a popular venue for family celebrations. Our summer terrace kitchen prepares grilled foods for groups, as well as salads, pizzas, and burgers for walk-in customers. Our hotel hosts festival-like events such as sports car meetups, Midsummer celebrations, band nights, and disco evenings for an older crowd. We aim to provide hospitable service to our guests from the first breakfast service in the morning until the last guests enjoying our club in the evening. We are seeking a colleague who values teamwork and can operate efficiently in changing situations and understand the broader picture within our versatile premises. The working language is Finnish. Due to seasonal variations, we hope for flexibility: we use the MaRaTes compensation system. We mainly work in two shifts, starting at 6:00 on weekdays and 7:00 on weekends, ending according to each event. Compensation is based on MaRaTes and standard evening, Sunday, and other supplements; we are also open to negotiating additional pay based on experience and skills.
