The student welfare services offer accessible support for the well-being of children and young people. School counselor services are part of this package. As a school counselor, your tasks include working with individuals and groups at both basic and secondary education levels. Your responsibilities involve early support for children and young people, providing and developing services in collaboration with multidisciplinary networks. We are seeking both full-time and part-time school counselors for fixed-term positions at basic education (4) and secondary education (1) in the Tampere area. We value good communication and teamwork skills as well as a developmental approach. The positions are fixed-term starting from August 10, 2026, with durations ranging from four to nine months. The trial period is up to half the length of the employment. Before accepting the position, those working with children must present a criminal record extract according to section 6, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Records Act.
