Job Description
AALTOVOIMA - POWER OF THE WAVE TO WORK We are looking for skilled and experienced bus drivers for our client company in Lapland for the upcoming busy winter season, with Oulu as the base and departure point. Our client is a leading, well-known, and respected large company in the travel and charter transportation sector in the north. The work begins in December according to agreement and continues until the end of the season, approximately until March-April. The routes starting from Oulu are very diverse and include, among others, spectacular Northern Lights tours, customized charter services, and travel experiences for tourists. You will meet both international and domestic customers and provide them with unforgettable, safe travel experiences. Due to the seasonal nature, the work involves evening, night, and weekend shifts. Since we operate in demanding winter conditions in the north and are responsible for passenger safety at all times, we require a strong professional background from applicants. Previous solid experience in driving heavy vehicles in winter conditions (especially on Lapland roads) is extremely important. Additionally, we require: Valid D-driver’s license and professional driver qualification (directive days completed). Excellent anticipatory driving skills and ability to handle large vehicles in challenging weather and road conditions. High level of customer service attitude – you are part of the travel experience and always greet customers with a smile. Finnish and/or English language skills (other languages are considered a plus when working with an international clientele). Good stress tolerance, flexibility, and ability to work independently in changing situations. What we offer you: Diverse, varied, and rewarding driving tasks within a top-level charter organization. Very high-quality and modern, well-maintained fleet that is a pleasure to drive. Comprehensive orientation to company procedures, routes, and equipment before the season begins. Caring, encouraging, and professional work community with strong support from supervisors. Affordable accommodation options during the season if you relocate to Oulu from elsewhere in Finland. A reliable employer experience from Aalto Personnel Services. If you are an experienced and confident professional familiar with northern roads and want to be part of a top team during Lapland’s most beautiful season – we want to hear from you immediately! We conduct interviews continuously during the application period and make decisions as soon as suitable candidates are found, so act quickly and submit your application via the link provided.
